Happy Birthday Michelle, Brittany, Jewelie and Tanner!

Wednesday, October 17 was a BIG birthdate in our church family! My friend Michelle had a special one, Brittany Hausman turned 12, Tanner Grimes turned 4 and Jewelie Hooper turned 20 the 18th!
Heather Dickinson had mentioned to me that Laura's oven wasn't working and she wasn't sure what she was going to do for Brittany's birthday. After a little brain storming, we decided to bake cupcakes and have a tailgate birthday party after church. So in between taking my husband, Dan, to the hospital for his volunteer chaplain work, teaching the children and taking Lorna to GBS for her piano lesson with Martha Miller, I baked 130 cupcakes - some chocolate and some strawberry, frosted them and put sprinkles on them. Lorna and I ran and got some balloons and DJ made a poster. Everyone seemed to enjoy and I even had some ask where the cupcakes were after church last night! We sure love our church family, they've been there for us in such a special way these last three years especially! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE, TANNER, BRITTANY, and JEWELIE! May you enjoy many more!

Hello...Thanks for stopping by my site to chat...I then enjoyed going to your blog! It was nice to see you at Pastor Mike and Michelle's wedding...We are really enjoying having them at our church-They are doing a great job! I will be happy to give both her and my Mom your regards! I'll also let Mother know that you liked her dining room...she does a wonderful job of decorating!(smile)It was fun to see that you also home-school...This is my first year to do so. I have a fourth grader, a kindergartener and a preschooler! I am really enjoying it. Sharon Hutchinson was instrumental in helping my husband and I make this decision...she is such a sweetheart! It was fun to see her on your blog! Tell her that I said "Hello", please. Well...take care!

Aunt Nesi, I just showed my kids these pics of the tailgate birthday party and Noah said, "THOSE CUPCAKES LOOK YUMMY!!!" He expressed my feelings exactly. We cannot get moist fast cake mixes here in Colombia, and right now I don't have the energy to make a cake from scratch, but baby and I surely could use some of your yummy choc. cupcakes, can you email me some? =D

We love your neat count-down to Christmas-- Christmas tree! It encouraged our hearts to know it was that close by. =)

Love, Heather =)
